Location: Woodland Hills

Schedule: Flexible with approximately 25-30 hours guaranteed - school day afternoons and evenings 3 days/week plus some nighttime and weekend coverage (planned in advance)

Qualifications:

•Comfortable with dogs

•Engaging, adaptable, and reliable

•Able to be paid via W-2

•Proficient swimmer

•Open to collaborating with Mom and acting as her childcare partner 

•Basic cooking skills

•Valid drivers license and own car (Mileage will be reimbursed per California law and Mom is open to helping cover the cost of insurance. A nanny car may be provided in the future.)

•Bonus: Spanish-speaking and intermediate to advanced cooking skills

Summary:

An honest, communicative, and emotionally intelligent Mom and her social, curious, and affectionate son are looking for their match. The child is 4 and attends preschool Monday through Friday. They are looking for someone to pick him up from school 3x/week, take him on an outing or to an activity, and assist with his dinner/bath/bedtime routine. He is profoundly social and deeply curious about the world around him so it is essential that the nanny matches this. The nanny is expected to facilitate enrichment opportunities for him like playdates, excursions to museums and parks, and educational activities. 

The nanny is welcome to stay in the private guest house onsite even when they are off the clock, and candidates with toddlers of their own are encouraged to apply as the boy is an only child and greatly enjoys the company of other children.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with open communication, welcomes working alongside a parent to forge a true childcare partnership, and values honesty, reliability, and exploration.
