Location: Venice

Schedule: Monday through Friday 10:30am-6:30pm (housekeeping plus nannying), 1:00-6:30pm (just nannying), or flexible hours (just housekeeping)

Rate: $27-$30/hour DOE and guaranteed hours

Qualifications:

•Fluent in Spanish

•CPR/First Aid-certified (or willing to obtain certification upon hire)

•Flexible full time availability

•Valid drivers license (nanny car provided)

•Basic cooking ability

•Toddler and school age experience

Summary:

A family in Venice with a four year old and nine year old are looking for their next long term fit as their nanny of nine years is transitioning out. Ideally, the nanny will take on both childcare and housekeeping tasks, but candidates only interested in nannying are also encouraged to apply.

If this is a hybrid housekeeping and nannying role, mornings will be spent on traditional housekeeping duties, including laundry, making beds, and both deep cleaning and light tidying. After school hours will be spent with the kids doing school pick ups (nanny car provided), taking them to activities, and preparing simple, kid-friendly dinners.

The kids are very attached to their nanny after nine years, so candidates should be prepared to help support that transition and be warm, nurturing, and sensitive to any big feelings that arise.
