Location: Santa Monica

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-9:00am and 12:30pm/2:30pm-5:00pm/8:00pm. Projected start date of Monday, June 1

Rate and Benefits: $30/hour, room and board (private room and bathroom), paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, and 40 guaranteed hours/week

Summary:

A large family in Santa Monica needs a live-in nanny for two of their four children. The family has two boys and two girls between the ages of 18 months and 9 years. The girls–ages 4 and 18 months–have their own nanny; this role solely focuses on the boys, ages 7 and 9.

The day starts with preparing breakfast and lunch for all children, dropping the boys off at school (nanny car provided), and grocery shopping. Following a break, the nanny will pick up the boys and take them to their activities. The nanny must be able to help with bedtime and work overnight when Dad is out of town, accompany the family when they travel, and provide occasional weekend help.

Responsibilities:

•Encouraging the boys to help with their laundry and other chores

•Ironing the boys’ school uniforms

•Preparing breakfast and lunch for the children

•Child-related tidying (a housekeeper is employed 4 days/week)
