Location: Brentwood

Rate and Benefits: Negotiable DOE, guaranteed hours, paid holidays, paid sick days, and PTO

Schedule: At least 3 weekday afternoons and evenings plus Saturdays/Sundays 9am-5pm (40 hours guaranteed)

Qualifications:

•Able to be paid via W-2

•Flexible full time availability 

•Competent swimmer

•College-educated

•Utilizes gentle parenting and child-led philosophies 

•CPR/first aid certified (or willing to obtain certification upon hire)

•Intermediate cooking ability

•Previous infant and toddler experience

•Valid drivers license/passport and willingness and ability to travel for multiple weeks at a time (the family has travel plans in place and plan to bring their nanny)

•Dog-friendly

Summary:

A progressive, conscientious family in Brentwood with an infant and toddler is looking for an educated, seasoned, and down-to-earth nanny who will be with them for years to come. The toddler–age 3–loves to learn, is independent, and a thrill-seeker! 

They need coverage on at least 3 weekday afternoons and evenings from roughly 12-8pm as well as on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-5pm (or similar hours). The nanny must be able to travel domestically and internationally, cook simple meals and snacks for the children, and drive the children (nanny vehicle provided by family). Comfort with dogs is also essential as the family has 2.

The nanny needs to have the ability to calmly manage the toddler’s emotions and meet them where they are. Mom and Dad value a nanny who is well-versed in child-led, gentle parenting tactics and takes a genuine interest in learning more about and employing progressive childcare philosophies.
